Pizza Pasta Bake made with JD Seasonings Amatriciana
Combining pizza and pasta has to be a stroke of genius, and when you add our Amatriciana Kit and plenty of melted cheese on top, it’s a match made in heaven!
Ingredients
- 1 x Pot of JD Seasonings Amatriciana Kit
- 300g Pasta
- 8 x Slices of pepperoni
- 1 x Green pepper, diced
- 100g Mushrooms, sliced
- 1 x Tsp balsamic vinegar
- 500g Passata
- 1 x Tbsp sweetener
- 1 x Tin of chopped tomatoes
- 60g Grated Red Leicester
- 60g Grated mozzarella
- 40g Sweetcorn
- 1 x Red onion, diced
- 100g Chorizo, diced
- 4 x Garlic cloves, crushed
- Low calorie cooking spray
Method
STEP 1:
Fry the garlic and red onion in low calorie cooking spray for 3 minutes.
STEP 2:
Add the chorizo and cook for a further 5 minutes, until the oils are released.
STEP 3:
Add the mushrooms and combine well, frying for 5 minutes, followed by the green pepper for another 2 minutes.
STEP 4:
Add the Amatriciana Kit and mix well.
STEP 5:
Pour in the chopped tomatoes and passata, followed by the sweetener and balsamic vinegar. Simmer for 15 minutes.
STEP 6:
Meanwhile, cook your pasta according to the instructions on the packet.
STEP 7:
Add the sweetcorn to your tomato sauce mixture and cook for 5 minutes.
STEP 8:
Combine the sauce and cooked pasta together. Top with the grated cheese and pepperoni slices and bake for 10-15 minutes, until the cheese has melted.
