Philly Cheese Steak Subs made with JD Seasonings AWARD WINNING Steak Rub
These delicious subs are so easy to make and this creamy cheese and steak combo, made with our Steak Rub, tastes as good as it looks.
- 1 x Pot of JD Seasonings Steak Rub
- 4 x Brioche sub rolls
- 2 x Rump steaks, sliced
- 200g Mushrooms, thinly sliced
- 2 x Green peppers, sliced
- 4 x Slices of reduced fat cheddar
- 1 x Brown onion, sliced
- Low calorie cooking spray
Coat the steaks in our Steak Rub and set aside.
In low calorie cooking spray, fry the onions and mushrooms for around 5 minutes.
Thinly slice your steaks and add to the pan. Cook for around 5 minutes, until starting to brown around the edges.
Add in the sliced pepper and fry for a further 2 minutes.
Put the cheese slices on top of your steak mixture and leave to melt for a few minutes.
Stir everything together and spoon into your brioche sub rolls, then serve.
